There Is No Better Pattern And Example For Leadership And Life Anywhere Else!

Leadership and quality leadership in particular is such as scarce commodity in our world that it is essential at time to pause and stop and look at the best example we have available.

I have taken much time recently to look at the finest picture of leadership which we have and if only we would seek to follow this example and pattern we would be rescued from so much painful suffering and warfare and hatred.

This has taken me into the New Testament book of Matthew and in Chapter 6 we read of concepts for these leaders in training which go unmentioned today. If one were to mention them in certain political and governmental circles one might even be laughed at and ridiculed, but just try to improve upon the teaching of Jesus Christ and you fail miserably

Jesus speaks about giving and prayer and fasting. Be generous in every way and pray and take time to focus upon something other than what is material and then you may be able to resolve many of the material problems!

Do not be like the hypocrites. They just go through the motions in order to get credit from other people.

The heartbeat is not this practice or that practice but our relationship with God.

There are various references here to doing things in secret. Read it. This appears in each of these three activities of giving and praying and fasting.

We have almost to disguise these three activities, even allowing fasting to appear as feasting. There is one who sees and hears. God sees. God hears. God also sees and hears how we live and behave and speak as leaders.

Jesus Christ, the Son of God, makes this so clear. God the Father sees when we mean business with Him.

Those who did all this to be seen had already received their reward in full.

There is one who watches and listens and notices and responds.

When we meet for worship and prayer, is this just something which only a few people do in our land today, which many consider irrelevant?

God wants our heart and our love and our mind. Almighty God wants to hear our voice.

And we almost have to pray - Help us to give to the needy - Help us to pray - Help us to fast, when it is right and proper and timely to fast.

Jesus was teaching what the scribes and Pharisees were not teaching their disciples, and leaders so require good sound solid foundation teaching in these present times.

Jesus is teaching us about our relationship with God. What is our God ward orientation? How do we live our life with Him in view? How do we the live for His "well done", according to His Word, as we have served and lived in His strength?

There are qualities and characteristics regarding leadership and work and service which could transform our businesses and banks and finance houses and governmental departments almost overnight.

This is vitally important no matter where you lead and no matter what your responsibility might be in the community. You cannot find a better example and pattern for life and leadership anywhere.
